# Button links dont work?

 * Hello,
 * and thanks for the plugin. I have simple primary button, but i cant get the href
   =”” attribute working, when i look at the sourcecode, it just shows on href=”#”…
   This is what im trying
 * [bs_button href=”[http://www.example.com&#8221](http://www.example.com&#8221);
   type=”success” size=”small” state=””]Button text[/bs_button].
 * I am using 3.6 wordpress installation
