Support » Plugin: Blocks for Eventbrite » Button Links

First off this solution it really elegant and works far better than many of the paid plug-ins. The only issue I have is that my client wants the button to link to the event page directly, rather than use the pop-up. It would also be great if you could edit the button text to Get Tickets.

Any ideas on CSS to achieve those goals?

    Hey @gone2alpine ,

    1. Button link: this is the first request I have had for this functionality. I am open to adding this if people want it but probably not anytime soon since it’s part of the appeal of this plugin. In the meantime I would encourage your client to use the pop-up since it keeps their customers on their site.

Alternatively, the title of the event currently links to the Eventbrite page directly so (with CSS) you could just hide the sign up button and change the color of the title to something that looks more like a link.

    2. Sign up button text: I do plan on adding the ability to change the button text in my next round of updates.

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks Jon.

I’m trying very hard to convince my client that this is the best option. I think the button text is the bigger thing, since the client is a music venue selling tickets. “Sign Up” is not the expected text in that setting.

@gone2alpine I just released an update with a new button text field that will allow you to customize the sign up button text. Hope this helps!
