# button in gallery doesn't work

 * I have created a gallery,but when I try to make an external link (or internal,
   I’ve tried too) with a button or with an hyperlink, it doesn’t work (the button
   change his color etc.. but nothing happens.)
    However when I right click on the
   link and select “open in a new tab” it works. Is there a way to make an external
   link with the “link URL”, that’s would be very useful !

 * The best way to make your Gallery items clickable is by setting the URL in the
   configure options of each item (the gear icon).
 * Any links you place in the content won’t work.

 * Ok thanks Melissa, I used the wrong expression, In fact I would like to open 
   the Link URL (external) in a new tab. In order to keep audience in my site.

 * Unfortunately that’s not possible with the theme.
 * You might consider putting your images in a Columns section instead.

 * Hi there,
 * I can definitely add a feature request on your behalf! Meanwhile, I’d suggest
   you use a Columns section instead of a Gallery if you need your images to open
   in a new tab.
