• Good plugin! When I enable the Theme’s transparent header feature, the Pin sits behind the menu, and goes away when you mouse over it. You’re going to run into this more and more, as themes get more exotic.

Is there a way to force the Pin It “on top”?

Or, what if you moved the relative position of the button on the image. You could provide a site-wide button position setting:

Button Position: Top Left( ) Bottom left( )…..

That should be possible, and would provide a lot more design flexibility. I can see good reasons why I would prefer a pinner to move his/her mouse (and eyes) to one corner over another. I could deliberately put offers nearest to the pin button.

    Dear user,
as the name of the plugin says “pin it button on image hover…” when the image is not present (when it is transparent) howcome will the button appear.
    Thanks.

Maybe I was not clear. The image IS present, but the top of the image is covered by a semi-transparent header which contains the menu.

The button appears when you hover over the image. But because the coordinates for the Pin It button are top-left of the image, when you hover over the button to click it, your mouse is now on the menu not the image, even though part of the image is visible behind the menu. As a result, the Pin It button disappears.

You can see the behavior here: http://avada.ecuadorbeaches.org/

Allowing a different button position would fix this, and add other benefits.

Sorry but it is not possible
