    I just updated to PayPal Express Checkout Version 1.6.0 the PayPal Express
   Checkout button disappeared from all pages. is there a special configuration 
   or check I need to be aware of?

 * Can you confirm that the buttons are no longer showing up after simply upgrading
   the plugin version, with no change in settings? Or is this with Smart Payment
   Buttons enabled?

 * Yes, that was the case. but I managed to fix this by reinstalling and re configuring
   the plugin.
