    Hi Duarte,
    Do you mean both text color and background color of “Read more” are green?
    If so, your theme overrides style of this plugin.
    Because by default, this plugin set ‘white’ color for “Read more” button.

    You should add this CSS to file style.css of your theme

    .pt-cv-readmore {color: #fff !important}
