Hi,
Are you using the latest version of reduxframework plugin?
As well as latest version of WordPress and Evolve theme?
I tried the setting and I am able to change the button color of my front page content boxes.
But the regular button colors still show the garish turquoise that’s the default.
Which regular button are you referring to?
Thank you.
Hi Denzel,
Yes, latest versions of redux, WP & Evolve theme all installed.
I was referring to the content boxes. I went thru and changed everything by hand in my child theme. I’ve had problems before with a child theme but got tired of the main theme updates changing the look of things.
Hi,
Maybe the parent theme has some changes in css classname which results in difference with your child theme.
Please post your website URL, I can try to provide custom css to change the color of your content boxes button.
Hi Denzel,
Thank you for the kind offer. I was trying to change the colors in the customizer which is WP standard now, and which worked before the most recent theme update. I have heard that Evolve does not play well with child themes.
I already added some custom css to my child theme’s style.css which fixed things, but if the theme author is not in compliance with WP standards, there will be some unhappy customers eventually.
The site is on my desktop in a local environment, so you wouldn’t be able to view it. I do appreciate your offer, it’s very generous.
Have a good weekend!
You are welcome!
Have a nice weekend too!
