On the settings page, the on/off buttons have two colors, white and maroon. If I click “ON” repeatedly, logically the setting should stay on, but instead the color reverses each time which is confusing. So is a setting active if the “ON” side is maroon, or is it active if the “ON” side is white?

    Hello,

This sounds like a strange issue, but unfortunately, we are not entirely sure what you mean. It will be helpful if you can share screenshots of the issue so that we can understand it better.

Here is a screenshot of the Yoast settings page. Do you see how the on/off buttons are maroon on one side and white on the other? How do I know which setting is off, and which setting is on? Evidently they are color-coded. Which color = ON, and which color = OFF?

@dave8441 Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately when we tried viewing the screenshot you provided we received a 403 forbidden error (see image here).

Can you please provide the screenshot by uploading it to an image sharing site, or modify the permission to allow us to view it? You can include an image in your reply by uploading a screenshot using a tool like https://pasteboard.co/ or something similar, and then pasting the link to the image within your reply.

As for the settings buttons, the maroon indicator shows what the setting is set to at that time. For example, if for the On/Off toggle the ‘Off’ is maroon, it means the feature is turned ‘Off’. If the ‘On’ part of the toggle is maroon, it means it is currently ‘On.’

There is no need to upload the picture anymore because you answered my question. Thank you.
