Support » Plugin: Calculated Fields Form » “button” class to calculate

    Hi guys,

according to your suggestion I am using a <span> class for my calculation button:
    <span class=”calculate-button” onclick=”evaluate_equations(this);” style=”cursor:pointer;”>CALCULATE</span>

I would like to change the <span> class to a <button> class:
    <button type=”button” class=”calculate-button” onclick=”evaluate_equations(this);” style=”cursor:pointer;”>CALCULATE</button>

I need this to use the keyboard to focus on the button using the tab key.

If I am using the button class, the form gets submitted, which I don’t need. Is there a way to disable the whole submit process (perhaps using a hook)?

    Thanks!

    Hello @tuempelkoenig

If you want to use a button the process would as simple as insert a button field in the form, and selecting as the button’s type the “Calculate” option (it is an attribute in the settings of buttons fields), and that’s all.

    Best regards.
