[Resolved] Business Categories not displayed in nav menus

  • I am using business directory plugin 3.0.2.
I installed and test my site in my localhost and it seems there is no problem. I tried to run in production and this is what happens.
When i successfully installed the plugin, I tried to create a new business directory category and create two new listings.
After that, i check the Menus tab under the Appearance and i found out that there is no directory category list.
Did i miss something which creates a problem that there is no directory categories in menu?

  • Hi,

    I have the same problem.
From what I understand business categories are different from post categories.
Has anyone made a widget to display business categories?
It seems this is the one missing here…

You can create a custom menu and include it in the side bar using a widget.

    Plugin Author businessdirectoryplugin

    Hi qwerty & marcool,

@marcool is correct–the categories are part of our custom post type and are not available under “standard WP” category widgets/menus/controls.

Your solution is probably the best one without having to hack the plugin somehow.
