Bullets for a single widget

  • I’ve eliminated the bullets on my sidebar widgets by editing out the following code in my theme’s CSS.

    .entry ul li:before, #sidebar ul ul li:before {
    content: “0BB 020”;
    }

    Is there an easy way to add them back in just for o single widget? How do I go about doing so?

    You’d need to check the source markup of the page and see what class that widget has. Then try adding:

    #sidebar ul ul li.class_name:before {
    content: "0BB 020";
    }

    to your theme’s CSS.

    It’s the twitter tools widget. It looks like the class name I’m interested in is aktt_tweets. However the following didn’t seem to work. Any additional thoughts? Site is here.

    #sidebar ul ul li.aktt_tweets:before {
    content: "0BB 020";
    }

    Try:

    #sidebar ul ul aktt_tweets li:before {
    content: "0BB 020";
    }

    That doesn’t work either. Does it matter where it’s placed in the CSS?

    Yes. If in doubt, add it to the very end of the stylesheet.

    This worked:

    #sidebar .aktt_tweets li {
       list-style: disc;
    }

    esmi, thanks a ton for getting me on the right path.
