# Bulletproof and curationsoft

 * I am just trying Curationsoft which curates content but it won’t work with Bulletproof
   because it has to utilise xmlrpc which I believe your system controls.
 * This is a known fault, at least to Curationsoft, do you have a work around this,
   are you actually aware of the conflict?

 * For content curating software the most common cause for BPS blocking something
   is the method used in the User Agent. Typically that User Agent is going to be
   java.
 * Troubleshooting steps:
    1. Check your BPS Security Log for 403 logged entries.
   2. Comment out these 3 User Agent filters in your root .htaccess file to verify
   that the User Agent is what is being blocked. 3. Post the results of doing steps
   1 and 2 back here.

 * Thank you for your reply but, and I am sorry, that is like telling me to build
   a space rocket so it won’t happen!
 * I am told by Curationsoft that I need to setup a rule in bulletproof antivirus
   program which will allow CS to go out to the internet when searching for content.
 * Now, as that is still in space rocket mode I am not sure if that is what you 
   are saying.
 * At the end of the day if I want to use Curationsoft then either Bulletproof has
   to make itself compatible with Curationsoft or the other way around, if not the
   only answer is to drop one or the other.
 * What are the best alternatives to Bulletproof, bear in mind that apart from bulletproof
   I am protected by Cloudflare and Sucuru Security.
 * Is it easy to remove Bulletproof safely?
