    Hello,

My collection has several titles that has more than one book (eg: 3 books named Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, with different Call Numbers). So I tried uploading my collection as a .CSV file and it successfully uploaded. However, bulk upload has removed these multiple items from the same title, and has uploaded only the first item (eg: only the first Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire book).

When I tried to add one-by-one from the Librarian’s dashboard, I could successfully add more items with same details (only difference is the Call Number).

I’d really appreciate if you can point out what I am doing wrong. Thanks!

Every item in the database *must* have a *unique* barcode. Even if you have duplicate titles.

Oh okay, thanks. Will make sure to add unique numbers.

But how did it add a second item when I used the dashboard to add manually, then? That part is not clear to me.

    Thanks!

You must have either used a unique barcode or else a unique barcode was generated.

It must be the second case, because I made sure to enter the exact same barcode manually to check what’s causing the issue.

Anyways my issue is fixed, thank you very much.
