    Hello,

Recently bought the plugin, two issues. I was under impression i could Select and bulk update the images i wanted, It’s not the case. Have to Update all which is not always ideal…

However, i am running an update now and it does one image at a time and is slow, i would have thought it does a ‘quick’ search and replace in the db. With 6k images pending, this will take some time 🙂

Otherwise it does the job. thanks.

    Hello @kattouf

Thank you for using my plugin and your kind support. I hope to add value for years to come.

As per the forum guidelines I am not supposed to answer questions related to the premium version here. However since the bulk updater is present in both the free and premium versions let me answer that part here.

Speed depends on the size of the database and available server resources. Running the bulk updater when there is less traffic might help.

Right now, the bulk updater needs the browser to the open for it to work. I have plans to improve it and use a background process so that websites like yours will have better experience. There might be things I can improve in the code as well to improve speed without losing reliability.

Possibility to select images is in the list too.

I will take your question as feedback. Please reach out to me via the form here for premium related questions or further discussions – https://imageattributespro.com/contact/

    Thank you once again.

Thanks, a background job would be ideal.

What happens when same image is used in multiple posts? Which title does it receive?

    thanks

    Hello again @kattouf

While it’s not the final solution, I have written a doc with a function to call the bulk updater programmatically – https://imageattributespro.com/run-bulk-updater-programmatically/

It might come handy in some cases I hope. More speed improvements to come for sure.
