# Bulk remove category

 * Hi,
    I know that with bulk can i add products to cateogory or other, but i need
   bulk remove all products from a category. How can i do this ? Thanks

 * The workaround here is to use the [Product CSV Importer and Exporter](https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/product-csv-importer-exporter/)
   to export the products and edit their categories in excel then reimport them.

    With import and 
   export, i had several problems eg fields starting with zero are cut off zero 
   value.

   be to use the WooCommerce REST API to bulk remove category assignments. For more
