Bulk pricing - same price for amount of different products (6 posts)

    Hey folks,

I would need an advice on how to do a bulk price for different products. For instance I pick 9 products to the cart and instead of the real prices I will get the total price of 50 euro or something.

So if 9 different products would be selected (from specific categoreis I pick) then the total price would be xy euros in the checkout.

Is there any plugin to do that or do I need to code it myself?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi @dawko,
A plugin which will do most of that is coming down the pike in the next couple of weeks. You can look at a couple of things in the meantime. The WPEC version is at http://wordpress.org/plugins/pricing-deals-for-wp-e-commerce/ . The documentation for the new WOO plugin is almost complete, and is at http://www.varktech.com/documentation/pricing-deals/introrule/ .

I say 'most of' because in the package pricing mode, the plugin will count the number or value of any products which fall into the eligible categories. For example, if you choose the deal to be 10 units, and give 3 eligible categories, the package price would be granted to any combination of items within the eligible categories.
