    I found the bug!!!
    The reason is not the file type
    Some time ago I used the WP function all images should be stored in a structure year/month. The folder structure will then be …/upload/year/month
    Later one I changed this option, this means all images now are in the upload folder without subfolders.
    If the bulk optimizer is used the plugin is only working with the actual configured file structure.

    Which WP function and option are you referring here?

    May be the name function was not correct!!!
    Correct is:
    Settings – Media -Organize my uploads into month- and year-based folders

    Excuse my English
