Hi there. First i would like to give you a credits for your patience answering plugin users. We have successfully installed your excellent plugin on our site. Since our product require lots of images (installed Advanced custom field plugin for uploading images to the gallery) is there a option in your plugin for helping bulk images upload instead add rows for every image that we want to upload?
    Thank you.

Thanks for your positive feedback on the plugin and its support in this forum; much appreciated.

I am not sure what you mean by “helping bulk images upload instead add rows for every image“. Can you give me more details and perhaps an example of the steps you follow now and want to enhance? Does the ACF plugin play a role in your question?

Thanks for any additional details you can provide.

Thank you for your fast response. We use ACF for our web shop. For our products we have created field groups and custom field for uploading images to product gallery. Right now if we want to upload 10 or 15 images we have to add row for every image and upload one by one instead choose 10 or 15 images and upload them by one click. Could your plugin help us to achieve this?

Thanks for your update. I regret that I do not understand what you mean by “add row for every image and upload one by one“.

It is possible to use MLA’s mapping rules to populate custom fields during the upload process. Have you looked at the Settings/Media Library Assistant Custom Fields tab for this purpose?

Some ACF field types require additional processing that would require custom code. It is hard to say without more specific information.

If you can tell me more about your “add row” process I might be able to give you more specific guidance. Thanks for your understanding.

Hi again and thank you for the time spending on our little problem. I’ve made the video so you could see process of image upload.
    All fields are ACF fields.

Thank you for your update and especially for taking the time to create and share the video of your process; very helpful.

As I understand it, you are using WooCommerce and ACF for your site. You have defined an ACF repeater field, “Gallery Images” to hold several images of each WooCommerce product. I am not sure how your Gallery Images are connected to the WooCommerce “Product Image” and “Product Gallery”, but perhaps this does not matter regarding your question.

The video makes it clear that “Add Row” refers to the process of adding images to the ACF Gallery Images repeater field; that’s the part I did not understand in my earlier posts.

I regret that I do not see any way MLA can help you improve the process or let you add multiple rows to the ACF repeater field at one time. ACF is using the WordPress Media Manager Modal Window to select the row’s image. Maybe there is a way ACF can use the WordPress “Add Gallery” function to select and add multiple images at one time.

You should consider asking the ACF author if there is a way to accomplish your goal. I wish the news was better, but I am marking this topic resolved simply because I have answered your question to the best of my ability. I wish you every success with your application. Thanks for your understanding and your interest in MLA.
