    translations can be edited in the frontend, but no backend. When you have many pages becomes an issue, tried phpmyadmin, but can’t edit either, the tables dont have unique id and it doesn’t let you
    any alternative other than exporting , editing and reimporting to the database?

    The general idea was to allow some editing in the backend translation editor, however since it is out of context, I am quite sure it is not very useful.

    You may try using shortcodes in backend translation, it really depends on what you are trying to achieve.
