Hi, With the category protection, you ONLY protect the category. You don’t have to protect the individual posts that belongs to a protected category. All posts of a protected category is protected. When you unprotect that one category then all posts of that category gets unprotected also.

Is there anyway to unprotect CERTAIN posts within that category because when we tried it would not allow us to?

Also is there anyway around this via premium plugin add-ons you offer or coding the plugins via CSS?

    Any help is appreciated!

Hi thanks for the prompt response, I am actually aware of the category protection function. I just want to know, is there any way to unprotect any individual post or posts that comes under the protected category.

    thanks!

(@sheerazraza), to unprotect an individual post you need to remove the protected category from that post. At present this is the only way to achieve what you want. In regards to your original question above.

But is there any option to bulk edit and unprotect like 100 posts out of 3000 posts in a protected category?

The answer no. Unfortunately at the present there is no option to achieve that.
