Bulk Add Categoires

    Hi Greg

    I’m building a site to help car enthusiasts buy and sell parts etc using wp-adverts.

    I have a .csv of car makes and models.

    Is there a way to bulk add these as categories/sub-categories to wp-adverts?

    Hi,
    we do not have any export or import features, however, the categories are just a custom WP taxonomy, so if you have the file properly formatted you should be able to import them using some third party plugin which can handle custom taxonomy uploads.

    For example, this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-taxonomy-import/ should be able to do the import for you, or if you have a premium license for WP All Import or ImportWP then these plugins can also import custom taxonomies.

    That worked exactly how I wanted it. I had overlooked that plugin as it hadn’t been updated for a while so not appearing in the Add Plug in interface in wp.
