  • Chrissy

I am trying to figure out the best way to build a website and need the help of some WordPress guru’s.

    It needs to..

    – Accept payments for a 1-day, 1-week, 1-month, and 1-year memberships, all paid via Paypal. Needs to know how long a users membership is and allow or disallow access accordingly.
    – Have public and members only content.
    – Have a Register, Login, and Members Info/Edit Info pages that are seem-less with the theme.
    – The registration needs to be to my site, not register as a user.

I’m having trouble finding a plugin or software that will handle the different membership levels and have them require payments. Do I need a shopping cart for the memberships or just a Members software like WP-Members or WishList Member?

I’m lost, any help is appreciated!

  • Chrissy, look into our plugin: Paid Memberships Pro.

It will do most of what you are requesting. We also recommend Theme My Login to theme your login page or create public profile pages:

    Good luck.

You can also have a look at this Membership Pro plugin

    Membership 2 Pro

There is even a Lite version for you to try out before you buy 🙂

It will do all that you require, allow you to set subscriptions based on days, one time payments, drip content, and more.

There are various ways for you to protect content and it allows you to have a visitors setting.

The plugin uses your theme’s templates to create pages to use, or you have the option of using shortcodes, to make it super-seamless

Themeing your login is a great idea too! Here is something simple for your login screen

However Theme my login is a great plugin too. WPMUDEV has also just rolled out a branding plugin with login themeing, favicon, all kinds of fun stuff to brand your website.

    you can check it out

I’d love to hear how things progress!
