    Hey all –

I’m building a Twitter-esque theme for my family to use (mostly tech laymens), and I really like the thought of having the “post content” box that generally appears in the “Dashboard” above the actual main page of the blog — kind of like it appears on Twitter. That way, once they log in, they will be able to see their previous posts, all lined up as usual, but they can also type and post a new blog post right there on the same page, without going to the Dashboard. Unlike Twitter, I’d like to keep the full functionality of the posting box (links, embed video, photos, etc.)

My main question is, is it feasible to more or less “combine” the post text editor from the dashboard onto the main page?

    Thanks!
