I want to do the same, I can show tab based table using Envira, e.g.,
[envira-gallery-dynamic id=”tags-lm”] shows a gallery with all pictures that has the tag “lm”. However, I want to use one page where the user can select a tag and then a gallery is build. I tried to connect the shortcode to a button or a link but didn’t have any succes. Any ideas about this? Any help, suggestions or info is welcome.

nope sorry, no response at all…
i tried something else then but went back to manually building the gallery
In RLG you can create dynamic galleries multiple ways while the closest to what you describe is the Media Folder gallery.
When creating a gallery you select a Media Folders as a gallery source – that type of gallery displays images that are categorized under a specific term.
