    Hello and thank you for continuing to update the plugin.

    Here is what I found out after I’ve updated to 1.5.5 –

    Bug –
    – if “Prevent listings from being posted to top level categories?” is selected in admin, when I try to create an ad, I cannot choose any of the parent categories. I can deselect it from admin, but then users will be able to post to top level categories.

    Also, I don’t see any settings for –
    – Tweak: Show video, map, contact details in the single listing page without the need of widgets.
    – New: Display listings in random order.

    and for some reason, these fixes don’t work for me –
    – Fix: Browser title issue in single category/location pages.
    – Fix: Listing slug not changed when edited.

    It makes me think that maybe my update didn’t fully go through?
    But on the other hand Separate dropdown for each category/location is working.

    Any ideas or help is appreciated.
    Thank you!

  • Actually I was waiting for those updates but after updating to 1.5.5 I also experience same problems like @dilo

    Unfortunately, I’ve started receiving some complaints in my latest release. I must be more careful in future.

    Yes, this is already reported and I promise to have a quick version next week and it have solution for this issue.

    Also, I don’t see any settings for –
    – Tweak: Show video, map, contact details in the single listing page without the need of widgets.

    Actually, you no need to adjust any settings for this. Just remove the widgets video, map, contact details from your sidebar and see what happens. If you have not assigned these widgets to your theme’s sidebar, the plugin will automatically split it’s current layout into 2 columns and start showing these content. Kindly let me know if you have any suggestion in this.

    – New: Display listings in random order.
    You can find option for this in the “ACADP – Listings” widget. And, our next version will have option to do this via shortcodes.

    Yes, I received complaints on this too. I can get this working with the template I use. But, I’m getting lot of emails that this don’t work for them. Can you allow me to check this directly from your theme? If yes, kindly submit a ticket in our website and send me the access details to access our source files directly from your server. So, I can look into this.

    – Fix: Listing slug not changed when edited.
    Strange. This works for me here. Actually, this works only in the site front-end where the user don’t have permission to edit the SLUG value. I doubt you must be checking this from back-end. So, kindly check this from front-end.

    I have already deleted the plugin, and nothing has happened, now I do not have maps either in the widget or on the page. The interesting thing is that I could place the map wherever I want through a shortcode

    @joaquincorbalan,

    Do you mean you’ve removed those widgets from Appearance => Widgets, but the plugin no more shows Video, Map & Contact details in the single listing page? Then, You must have written override for the single listing page in your /wp-content/themes/ folder. If yes, kindly try deleting the override. If still the issue remains, kindly submit a ticket in our website.

    ok, – Tweak: Show video, map, contact details in the single listing page without the need of widgets.

    — after removing widget this tweak worked for me. HOWEVER the problem is that thr map and address displayed differently in different browsers and I think the address is not displayed in responsive way. It looks ok on PC but not on mobile especially on AMP page.

    @dilipghadi,

    Strange. We use the same code used by the widgets, but just displayed inside the Bootstrap’s grid container. Kindly share me your site link to see what goes wrong.

    Thanks @pluginsware

    I was able to see the updates, except the “Browser title issue in single category/location pages”, still acting funny.
    I will also try to “submit a ticket” later.

    The Listing slug was changed once I’ve tried it from the front-end.

    @dilipghadi
    I did see the map and contact form once I’ve removed them from the widget area, and in my case the theme might be the reason why it did not display correctly, so I’ve left it as a widget, it works out better for me.

    Thanks again!

    address line is wrapped properly in ie and chrome but in ff it goes outside the display box instead of wrapping it.

    I use Automattic AMP plugin. There is no Image, Address, map displayed on amp page.
