    Hi,
    “Rewrite test failed! The wp_remote_get() returns an invalid JSON data, probably the server blocks custom rewrites.”

    Even with a clean install of wordpress and the default theme, the look of the site is completely broken. 5.9.1

    Rewrite test failed! The wp_remote_get() returns an invalid JSON data, probably the server blocks custom rewrites.

    I’ve read a lot of sources. I did everything. not working. I talked to a big server company. The expert support team helped. but they didn’t work either. I’ve been managing my own server for 15 years. An expert team with huge servers could not solve it either.

    I did a clean install of the server 13 times. No fixed..

    I tested for WP 5.9 and 5.9.1:
    Centos 7 – 8 – stream8 and stream9
    —
    Directadmin
    Cyber Panel
    —
    Apache
    Openlitespeed
    —
    Php 8.1.x
    Php 7.4.x

    I’m sorry, but as the message clearly says “Rewrite test failed! The wp_remote_get() returns an invalid JSON data, probably the server blocks custom rewrites.”
    That means, the test rewrite didn’t return the expected data. That is caused by the rewrites not working properly on your server environment! If you proceeded further and clicked the Ignore link, of course, the front side, shows broken as the customized URLs don’t work.

    There is no such thing as a rewrite bug, just your environment. You don’t have to be a server expert to figure that out. I would gladly helped in the right direction to make it work, but you already decided the plugin have no use for you..
