Support » Plugin: Lazy Blocks - Gutenberg Blocks Constructor » Bug with Placement setting for Image Control

  • Firstly just want to say that Lazy Blocks is awesome and I love working with it!

I’ve come across a little issue that I think is a bug (unless I’m missing something obvious):

When creating or editing a custom block you can choose the placement of the control (Content, Inspector, Both or Hidden). This seems to be working as expected for some controls such as text, checkbox, etc. But for the image control when I set the placement to Inspector the image control is showing up in both the content and the inspector. Is this a bug?

I’ve added an image here to demonstrate the issue: https://sww.nz/temp/Lazy-Blocks-Bug.png

    Hi.

Unfortunately, I can’t repeat this bug. Can you maybe export your blocks in Tools > Export > WordPress? So, I can import it and check the problem.

    Regards, nK.

    Hi nK,
Sure, I’ve exported the blocks. I also tested by importing to a different WP site and the issue appears there too.

Here is a link to the export file: https://we.tl/t-foSdzjSD2m

    Thanks,
    Aidan

PS. Lazy Blocks gets a little mention in a blog post I wrote last month – https://sww.nz/my-top-8-wordpress-advances-in-the-last-12-years/
