• Hi,

thank you for this plugin !

I have a problem that I do not understand.

I have 5 files input in my form : [file file-01 limit:4mb filetypes:jpg]. They have a limit of 4mb each.

When I upload 5 images (.jpg) with 2Mo each, the form returns an error “There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later.” BUT I receive the mail a few time later…

However, if I upload 3 images of 2mo and 2 images of 500ko, I do not have any errors…

I deactivated all plugins on my website, and switched to the “twenty seventeen” theme.

    In phpinfo there is :
    upload_max_filesize 128M

I tried to reinstall contact form, I created new form too…
In modules/file.php I changed the value of $allowed_size to ‘40048576’ for testing.

I tried on local server and on website which is hosted by ovh.

Does somebody have an idea ?

As I said, I deactivated others plugins and switched to the “twenty seventeen” theme. It is still not working. You can see the form here I set the file limit to 1Mb instead of 4Mb and it works.
The theme name is “Plate” and the list of plugins : Force Regenerate Thumbnails

    One Click Demo Import
    Redux Framework
    SF Taxonomy Thumbnail
    Simple Twitter Tweets
    WP Instagram Widget
    WPML CMS Nav
    WPML Multilingual CMS
    WPML Sticky Links
    WPML String Translation
    WPML Translation Management
    wpSpade CPT – Plate
    wpSpade Sharing Bar
    wpSpade Shortcodes – Plate
    wpSpade WP Gallery – Plate
    Yoast SEO

I don’t think the problem comes from the theme, please look at the post below

Ok, I tested once again : I created a new wordpress without plugins and with the “twenty seventeen” theme, I only installed the plugin contact form with this settings :

    [file file-01 limit:4mb filetypes:jpg]
    [file file-02 limit:4mb filetypes:jpg]
    [file file-03 limit:4mb filetypes:jpg]
    [file file-04 limit:4mb filetypes:jpg]
    [file file-05 limit:4mb filetypes:jpg]

    [submit “Send”]

The message is sended when there is nothing in the field “file attachment”, but when I add [file-01][file-02][file-03][file-04][file-05] to the field “file attachment” and submit the form I get the error.

I hope it will help you
