Bug with font display of currency symbols €

Hi there,
Since a few days the plugin “Use Any Font” is somehow interfering with the font display of the currency symbols, such that they disappear on mobile.

My shop has EUR currency, the € symbol was always perfectly visible on desktop and mobile but since last week I noticed it’s not displaying on mobile. I checked on different iPhones.

When temporarily testing with Use Any Font turned off, it works fine.
Could you help here?

Can you please make sure the font file you are using have € glyph included ?

Yes it has 🙂
As I said, the € symbol was always perfectly visible on desktop and mobile. It was suddenly since last week I noticed it stopped displaying on mobile.

Hi,

I just checked on my mobile devices, and the Euro sign before the product price is working fine. I checked in Android and Iphone simulator.

Hi,

I have an iPhone 6s and an iPhone 13 Pro. The Euro sign before the product price is NOT displayed. You can see the screenshot:

@renatagauchere ,

I am really sorry as i haven’t been able to figure out why it is acting so, though i can see the issue in Iphone 13 Pro Max in both safari and chrome.

Have you tried using other font ? Is there any difference ?

Hi,
No, I don’t want to change the font.
As I said, the € symbol was always perfectly visible with the current font.
It was suddenly since few weeks ago that I noticed it stopped displaying on mobile.
I had used the plugin “Use Any Font” with the exact same font since 2018, this font never had this issue before.

I tried to upload new fonts now in order to test.

Every time I try to upload I get this message:

This key does not exists in our record. May be it was old Free / Lite API key. Free / Lite key are deleted once they are used.

@renatagauchere ,

Think you are using the old API key there. If you are using old Lite API key you can remove that Generate button for Lite key will appear. If you are using old premium key, then you can use the same key as discount code in https://dineshkarki.com.np/use-any-font/api-key and get the new premium key.
