When using the contributor template, the page consistently shows different users as logged in – even if no one is logged in, all caches and cookies are cleared and the page is viewed in incognito/privacy mode. As far as I can tell, this is the only part of the theme or the site that is affected but I cannot see anything obviously “wrong” with the code itself.

I can confirm that wp_get_current_user() returns a different user before and after the template’s code is run.

I have fixed the bug locally by search replacing $current_user with $my_current_user.

    Hi @lordmatt,

Seems I managed to overwrite the global $current_user variable when I first created the template. Thanks for letting me know!

I’ve fixed the issue in version 1.33, which was just submitted and should be live shortly.
