Support » Plugin: IssueM » BUG! Unable to add Articles to Issues!

  • In the most recent version of WordPress and/or IssueM, the Issue picker no longer shows up in the side menu, meaning that I am unable to add new articles to issues. Unfortunately, this is preventing me from creating the latest version of a digital publication that I’m involved with. If there is a workaround, could this please be advised or could a fix please be given some priority? Many thanks!

When editing an article, click on “Screen Options” in the upper right hand corner of the screen and make sure “Issues” is checked.

    Hi Jeremy,

Thank you for your response! The Screen Options isn’t available in WordPress 5’s new Gutenberg editor 🙁 If you could still figure out a fix for the new editor interface, that would be appreciated by many I’m sure.

However, for anyone else encountering this issue currently, install and activate the official ‘Classic Editor’ plugin from WordPress – this restores the old interface, brings back the screen options and issue picker!

The latest version of IssueM is now compatible with the Block Editor.
