  • We are on Version 2.8.3 and someone used it recently and it worked on our system.
I am pretty sure it was on this version. I got an email notification on June 27th. My plugins are updated automatically nightly. It looks like we have been running 2.8.3 since May.

    Also on 2.8.3.

I suspect our installation is broken (it was migrated from another host in the past year and has had a few odd behaviours since). 🙁

Thanks for the reply – it’s helpful. 🙂

@donalhunt, do you still need help with this, please?

If yes, the page you linked to under the need help with is not the right link, please. I looked at your other ticket, can you confirm you still have the “Use WordPress Default” as your login page?

Just to add on what Mary has said, the frontend login page for Paid Memberships Pro only works for the [pmpro_login] shortcode. If you have your Log In page set to a page that uses other frontend login shortcodes it’s not going to work as we use custom query parameters to swap out the form type for login, lost or reset password etc.

I recommend in setting your Log In page inside Paid Memberships Pro to either be the login page that uses the Paid Memberships Pro shortcode, or if you are using a different login shortcode plugin to set the page to “Use WordPress Default” as the other plugin will handle the redirects and form types in their own container.

We are looking at this in the near future to make it more stable when using different plugins and login redirections.

I hope this helps clear things up.

We are only using the Paid Memberships Pro shortcode. As a workaround we’ve set the page to “Use WordPress Default”.

Have a second related issue that I’ll post about now.

This is also fixed by the solution on https://wordpress.org/support/topic/the-rest-api/

Hopefully it helps someone else down the road. =)
