This issue was posted and supposedly resolved 2 years ago, but it’s happening on my new WP install.
As stated in the original posting:
When using Quick Edit on the list of pages, Im changing page template, and the page name in the list loses the dash before it that signifies that its a child page. The actual attribute stays intact, but the dash is removed until the manage pages page is refreshed.
That post was responded to with a link to the code.trac site that states the issue was resolved way back then. But I’m seeing it in my current 3.2.1 installation.
(I don’t recall seeing this before in more-recent WP versions, though I may have missed it.)
