Could you post the exact error you receive?
Also regarding the coupons, a member of the WPMU DEV community created an awesome plugin to allow per-item coupons, it might be worth checking out here:

It’s not an error message, the output shows ‘array’ on the price lines in the order status page, if the order was 0.00 based on using a discount code that was the same cost as the price of purchase
this happens when it’s expecting a string and instead gets an array

That’s nice, but unfortunately I have not had the same experience as you. They have been great people to work with and my giving them bug reports have been seen and acknowledged on a constant basis to make their software and my own better.
I am sorry you have had problem; unfortunately the pettiness of your response really doesn’t weight merit in any situation. I suggest going about it a different route to gain any substance to what you are trying to portray.
