    Hi,

There seems to be a bug with the payments displaying as “disabled” under account settings when updating the plugin from 5.7.0 to 5.8.0, with all the Stripe credentials properly filled in.

Under Settings -> Account details -> Payments: Disabled
    Deposits: Enabled
    Webhooks: Enabled

The Payments icon still appears as disabled even after everything is filled in correctly – see screenshot https://snipboard.io/TQ0wfR.jpg

    Steps to reproduce issue:
    1) Update Stripe woocommerce plugin from 5.7.0 to 5.8.0
    2) Under settings -> account details, the payments still show as disabled even though the account keys and webhook details have already be pre-filled in

I have tested this on a couple of sites and confirm that this behaviour is recurring – please kindly look into a fix for this.

I was not prompted to connect to my existing Stripe account (see this screenshot: https://snipboard.io/xhIaqn.jpg ) as I already have an existing connection in 5.7.0

Can you please test to see what is causing this behaviour?

    Hey there!

The message you are seeing there is based on info from your Stripe account, that they need more info from you regarding your business.

This is a requirement of Stripe, and not something really to do with the WooCommerce Stripe plugin.

I’d recommend clicking on that link from your first screenshot to see what Stripe is requesting, and then get that info sent into them.

    Hi @slash1andy

I don’t think you understand the problem. This is a bug with the plugin caused by upgrading from 5.7.0. The live keys and webhook details are already pre-filled in and there is nothing missing from our Stripe account (we have been using the Stripe account until now without issue).

The payments disabled icon is coming from the WooCommerce Stripe plugin as per the screenshot above.

    Steps to reproduce issue:

    1) Update Stripe woocommerce plugin from 5.7.0 to 5.8.0
    2) Under settings -> account details, the payments still show as disabled even though the account keys and webhook details have already be pre-filled in

I suggest that you try it for yourself by testing with a live Stripe account and upgrading from 5.7.0

FYI, that link just directs to https://stripe.com/support

Please test before giving generic template replies that add no value

Yeah, I agree here that the UI refresh we introduced in 5.8.0 is a little wonky. I see someone (probably you?) opened a bug report about this already here:

    https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-gateway-stripe/issues/2175

… so I will go ahead and leave some more details there for our developers.

Please follow along with the GitHub issue for more updates. Thanks!

Hi there. I am new user just setting up, and I am having the same issue.

Spoke with stripe. They pasted me the logs to show that everything is indeed enabled at their end, and they referred me to plugin support.

    Thought they were just deflecting.

Thank you for posting. If you need another live case for troubleshooting, just let me know.

I’ve linked your post in the GitHub issue @little33. Thanks for letting us know!

    Hi,
I’m having the same issue. The “stripe payments are disabled” in woocommerce payment settings. I’ve been using stripe for years, all the api keys are correct. nothing was changed.
I contacted Stripe and they checked my account and said that my payment are enabled, everything is set up correctly in my account, they said this is a plugin/woocommerce issue.
    Can you please help?

    Hi @blueazure000

Thanks for letting us know you’re experiencing this issue as well, I’ll add to the GitHub issue here, please follow along there for any updates.

I am having this same issue, setting up the Stripe Gateway after not using it for a while. I’ve also checked with Stripe, and they say all of our information is complete.

Does anyone know whether the payouts work despite the error message in the plugin? I can’t test those right now because I haven’t completed the setup.

    Thank you.

    Hey @arecibo2

Please make sure you create your own request here in the forums so that you aren’t commenting on closed topics.

Payouts should work properly on the site, regardless of the displayed notices.

Hello, this is a problem caused by a glitch in the plugin and not in the strip. I have the same problem, but everything is fine. I have paid strip settings that pass despite the presence of the yellow message in the payment settings, even with the update of WordPress to the latest version 5.8.2. Good payments

I am also having the same problem. Everything in Stripe is filled in as far as I can tell. I also noticed I’m having a lot of webhooks that are failing now.
