this plugin to me is no longer updated and it does not work correctly; it is only visible in your backend, it will not show on pages or posts.
That’s not quite true. I’m currently running it (version 1.7.1) on a website with the latest WordPress 5.1 install, and it is visible & working on the frontend (to site visitors)…
In order for it to work, you have to be careful about how the plugin’s JavaScript code is optimized (or not), e.g.:

That said, this plugin could definitely still benefit from a fresh update! Thanks.
It looks like the last update was sometime in October.

I’m not getting enough bandwidth between family, full-time job, pro plugins and free plugins. So things doesn’t go as planned. But I do try to help everyone who contacts me through my site. But some people expects their issue to be fixed within 24 hours otherwise they just leave a one star review. So I get even more demotivated.
But I do make sure to test this plugin against every release of WordPress and it works fine in 5.1. I do have a couple of new ideas for this plugin, but it’s just that I’m not able to allocate time towards it. Hopefully I’ll get some bandwidth in near future and can have some new features added to it.
