bug : no cronjob on wpcron
-
Hi,
I have experienced some issues with the “smq_start_queue” cronjob.
No mails was sent, so I have take a look with wp-crontrol and nothing.I have read your support and I have see mention of “smq_sanity_checks” cronjob, but I cannot find ether.
When I click “save” on advanced parameters, nothing appends.
When I change the interval cronjob, the “smq_start_queue” cronjob appears.
And only when I disable/enable the plugin, the 2 cronjobs appears “smq_start_queue + smq_sanity_checks”.Is this normal ? Or a bug ?
I have your plugin since october 2021.
Thanks for your reply.

Hi @maximepasquier,
Your feedback is really interesting as “smq_sanity_checks” should always be listed in wp-crontrol list. It is responsible of healthchecking “smq_start_queue” and reschedule if necessary. We are clearly in the scope of a failure/bug here.
Did it happen again since you deactivated / reactivated the plugin ?If it does, I will have to find a more robust way to healthcheck “smq_start_queue”.
Yours faithfully,
BirmaniaHi @birmania,
I have understood the necessary/importancy of the “smq_sanity_checks” cronjob 😉
Since I deactivated and reactivated the plugin, it happen again on 1 site on 8 sites.
(I have a panel of 8 wordpress site, and it happen only on 1 site)If it does, I will have to find a more robust way to healthcheck “smq_start_queue”.
Yes, it will be more safe for me to know that this cronjob always works and the mails are sent 😉
Thanks for all,
Maxime.-
