Support » Plugin: Captcha Code » Bug – No Characters on image

  • I’am using W3 Total Cache with page basic, object, mysql and browser cache on.
    When I clean all the cache on the browser and go to the post page no character is shown in the image(comment form), but when I submit the form(comment form) for the first time the characters appear.
    I changed the file captcha_code_file.php, and added the following lines after line 10:

    if(is_null($characters_on_image)) {
    $characters_on_image = 4;
    }

  • This worked for me. Thanks!

    It would appear that is is due to sessions not being initialised. Even with this code, you can’t actually submit the form as there is no value to check the captcha against.
