This has been reported earlier, but i still can not reproduce this situation.
Pls answer a few questions to make it easier to find the solution:
– What are the settings of:
Table IX-D9
Table IX-D10
Table IX-D11
Table IX-D11.1
– Please try what happens if you create a (dummy) album, and set IX-D11.0 to the default value (selection box) and Table IX-D11.1 to that dummy album.
Table IX-D9: yes
Table IX-D10: show name (sorry the interface is in a funny Italian, so I dont know the original)
Table IX-D11 (Grant parent selection method) An album (multi)selection box
Table IX-D11.1 (The parent album(s) of the auto created albums) it’s a long list of “carlo reverberi” albums (i think all those created automatically) + “separated” at the top.
If it can help:
after installation the plugin created automatically 2 albums for my user and everything was fine, no bug. But then I wanted to delete those, because I just need a sitewide album for all members. I started deleting one of the two (I dont remeber the features, it was probably “carlo reverberi” but in members?). Then I tried to delete the other one, but the bug started. The more I try to delete, the more albums are created.
I tried to reinstall from scratch the plugin, also with database cleanup but some settings remain somewhere so again the bug is there…

I put “no” in Table IX-D9 and this behavior stopped.

Is the only album selected in Table IX-D11.1: — separate — ? Did you even change this setting?
Please do the following:
Install and activate plugin Tweak option
Find Tweak option in the tools menu and open it.
Find option ‘wppa_grant_parent’ and tell me its value
yes you are right, I also changed the setting in Table IX-D11.1 so now only –separate– is selected.
Now I tried again to put “yes” in Table IX-D9. A new album with my user name was created. When I tried to delete it, another one was created again. Nevertheless it did not start to create multiple albums on my name as before.

So it works correctly now? This means that the initialisation of the option wppa_grant_parent was probably wrong. ( -1 is good, it means —separate — ).
I will look into the initialisation problem and will try to find a way that – even with wrong init – it will not create multiple albums anymore. Thanx for your help.

I looked for quite a while for a good sitewide gallery. Yours is the best (even though it can do much more).
