BUG: Link text using the class disappears when logged in

If you look at the image, you can see on the left the links with the trigger classes disappear for logged in users. On the right is what shows for guests.
These links have been created as per instructions e.g. <a class="xoo-el-login-tgr">Login</a>
I tried adding an href="#" to the first one but it made no difference.

Below both sets of links are links added using the built-in menu items (Menus > Login/Signup Popup).
