Bug in version 2.2.6

we just noted a bug in your current version 2.2.6. It occurred in two completely different sites where we use your plugin.

Both WPs are still 5.5.3 and running on PHP 7.4.

After we updated to your newest version the front end pages secured by your plugin throw a critical WordPress error. In the console we find a 500 Internal Server Error and some JavaScript errors of other plugins that didn’t occur before your update.

As soon as we rolled back your plugin’s version to 2.2.5 all was fine again – in both sites.
