Does that plugin check for ms_is_switched() in its saving callback handler? How does it access the POST data?

// Edit. Nevermind, found it. No, it doesn’t.

Same issue here. Reverting back to 2.3.2 solves the issue.

This is a severe bug, causing meta values of related posts to be overwritten.

Did you choose version 2.3.2 because it is the latest patch release before the last feature release, or did you also try some 2.4.x and it didn’t work as well?

@ryanhellyer: can you provide a step-by-step guid to reproduce what you are experiencing?
You are talking about this plugin, are you? Which version? Any specific settings?

Yes, that is the plugin. It occurs with the current latest version.

I don’t have time right now to provide a step by step guide, but I could do that for you next week if you can’t replicate this issue.

I have tried 2.4.5, and that has the issue too. Then switched to 2.3.2 because of Ryans post. I am using own built meta fields.

    Any news on this?

I guess you did see the issue that a colleague of mine created right after you reported this, right?

I am not using CMB2, using own coded meta boxes/fields. this would mean the bug is in MLP code, and not in CMB2 code, although the proposed patch for CMB2 is of course a good one.

Well, this could also mean that both of your plugins are buggy. 😉

Is your code available somewhere? Do you check for the current site in your code?

Does your save_post handler checks for a switched site context? https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/add_meta_box/#comment-1744

This seems to have been fixed in 2.4.8, since I have just tested this and the bug is not reproducible anymore.
