Same behaviour. Bug after updating.
I re-installed the previous version, and it’s working fine again.
Same bug in French version with 2.0.66.16 version and wordpress 3.9.1
Nothing in the four lines of Afficher les galleries (Display a gallery)from the insert gallery window.
No gallery can be inserted and the ancient pictures inserted fron Nextgen gallery that were seeable in true size changing with arrow click and legend have lost this functionnality.
@maxsupport, @itinerrances, Artaud – It does appear we have issues with the French translation, our apologies. Please remove those translation files after updating to the latest release and we will try to have this addressed as soon as we can.

For those facing such pb, just rename your specific languages files, it’ll be ok (despite icons broken links in tool tabs).
Translation files can be found under:
../wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/i18n/lang/

did you solved this problem in the last release ? Sure I could try, but I’m not a geek, and it took me hours last time to downgrade…
@itinerrances, I don’t know if plugin’s developers have fixed that issue in the last public release, anyway it’s not difficult to upload a couple of files via FTP, and it takes a few minutes.
So if I were you I would upgrade to the plugin latest version, and in case of issue I’ll ask for those files.
