• I want to put the following code into a post:
    <iframe src="http://rcm.amazon.com/e/cm?t=404techsupp-20&o=1&p=8&l=as1&asins=159059844X&md=10FE9736YVPPT7A0FBG2&fc1=000000&IS2=1&lt1=_blank&m=amazon&lc1=0000FF&bc1=000000&bg1=FFFFFF&f=ifr" style="width:120px;height:240px;" scrolling="no" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" frameborder="0"></iframe>

When I paste it into the HTML tab of the editor the code appears just fine and the widget shows up after hitting the Preview button.

If I toggle back to the Visual tab, there is about a 50% chance that it will show up. If it does show up and I switch back to the HTML tab, the code is gone. This happens if there is any other text in the box or not.

  • Switching back and forth between the visual and html editors will mangle your code. The visual editor is not a post preview tool. These editors do things very differently and you should only be using one of them. If you are adding your own code, then use only the html editor and disable the visual editor in your dashboard profile.
