I am facing a serious problem.
I am currently using the latest WP and WC plugin. And my dropdown widget doesn’t work.

The curious thing is that the problem is related to the WP admin bar.
If i turn it off, everything works fine. How to be in this case? What to do? Are you going to fix this bug?

ps. changing the theme doesn’t help. The problem is not with the theme, but with your plugin!

I installed WC Blocks. I thought maybe at least it would fix the situation. But no!

No matter what filters and with what parameters I would not apply – none of them work! What is the use of them at all? What have you done? Why did they break everything that was possible?

Here is a video demo that nothing works:

Are you planning to fix this at all?
Why did you break all the filters?

    Hey @4vke,

Thanks for the video. I gave this a try on my development site using the Storefront theme and I have not been able to duplicate this. The drop-down continues to work with and without the admin bar.

If you can reproduce this on a site with only WooCommerce and Storefront active, then here’s what to do. Open up a new issue at GitHub. That’s where the developers keep track of bugs and fixes. You’ll want to give them the exact steps to follow to reproduce the error.

    Take care

@3sonsdevelopment It’s weird that you weren’t able to duplicate the problem. Because even on standard themes the same problem arises.

I also want to draw your attention to the following two points:
    1. I am using the latest version of WordPress: 5.8.
    2. I am using the latest version of Woocommerce: 5.5.2.

What versions of the WP and WC do you use?

@3sonsdevelopment Well… I’m here again. And I come back with new video, in which I once again show the bug. And this including using the STOREFRONT theme!

    Enjoy!

Fantastic. I was testing with WordPress 5.8 and WooCommerce 5.5.2.

If you can reproduce it on a fresh WooCommerce site with only WooCommerce and Storefront active, then go on and open up an issue at GitHub. Make sure to write out the exact steps they need to follow to reproduce the issue.

    Thanks!

I appreciate you opening that. It’s always helpful to have written, step-by-step instructions for how to reproduce an issue. That makes it easier for the people triaging bugs to know for certain that they are testing the right things.

Just in case you are curious, here’s what I ran into while testing this on my site.

Very interesting … perhaps I would say that this is some kind of glitch, but no. At least due to the fact that I did the same on two different hosting. This can’t be a coincidence or just a glitch …

And yet, I will repeat my question: which version of the WP and WC?

Did you happen to also test in a private browser window?

No. Not private. Still shown in my last video.

Please go on and test in a private browser window and see if it happens to you there.

@3sonsdevelopment to tell the truth, I’m already tired of it.
I’d rather look for some other plugin.

And if the developers are interested, they will take a look. I created a topic here on github and sent another link to facebook. With all this, no one answered anything. Enough.

The first step in fixing a bug is being able to reproduce it. If the developer can’t see it, how would they know when their changes fixed it?

Thanks again for opening up the issue on GitHub. If anyone else runs into this issue, they can jump on that issue too. These are widely used widgets so I would expect to see something if this happens to other users.

@3sonsdevelopment, i recorded the last video especially for you 🙂

this time everything happens in a private tab. The effect is the same, it doesn’t work. But as soon as I hide the admin bar, everything works.
