BUG: Custom "Phrases" fail to display if apostrophes are used

    If apostrophes (and possibly other special characters) are used in the alternative language strings or “phrases,” then many (maybe all) custom phrases are ignored and the defaults are used without warning.

    My suggestion is to create a good English language default that supports translation and leave it to the user to handle that themselves.
