Not sure if it should be considered a feature or a bug, but if you advertise that the plugin can deactivate comments and trackbacks in all past and current posts, and if this feature should be intended to optimize the website, I need to ask two questions:

    1) Why is only effecting on published posts? If I want comments/trackbacks deactivated globally, it should also effect on all posts, independently of their status (draft, scheduled, trashed, private, etc). Bug or feature? 🙂

    2) What about pages and other taxonomies? If I want comments/trackbacks deactivated globally, it should also effect on pages rather than only on posts. Bug or feature? 🙂

    3) I know, I know, I said 2 questions, but… if this feature will deactivate comments/trackbacks globally, it should switch comments allowance to off in the settings page. Maybe you could add a checkbox to let users to deactivate comments on all past and present post, AND in future posts.

Besides these observations, your plugin rocks!

While I really appreciate what you are trying to do, I can’t help myself but to say …

    1. I do not monitor this forum .. there are 2 sticky topics in this forum saying that, it is extremely difficult for me to organize and resolve problems

    2. I have said the same thing in the readme file and also provided a public email address for these

    3. The plugin info screen has all the contact info necessary to contact about support or issues at github..
