[Bug] Attributes Not Getting Imported in CSV Product Importer

Hi, In Woocommerce 3.1 CSV Importer, Product attributes are not getting imported. Please provide a solution.

Having some issues with *non global* attributes. They’re simply not being set.
Global attributes however are being set.

Global attributes are not being set as well. I am trying to import attributes for simple products but global attributes are also not being set for these.

I had the global attributes manually pre-set, that might be the reason it worked for me

The only know issue is with CSVs in non-UTF8 format, so try exporting the CSV with this encoding or using a program like openoffice or google docs which does this by default.

To look further we’d need a CSV anyhow.

This CSV is not valid, it’s missing quotes around each cell for example.

I imported this to update the attribute of the given sku but the update didn’t happen. Similarly, Attributes for new products are also not getting imported.

Does it work with a new product import? I imported this successfully and a global attribute was created.

It is neither working with a new product import nor with an existing product import. The attribute is not getting imported in the product. All the other fields like name, stock etc are getting imported. Have tried it in 2 installations – one of them had no external plugins apart from Woocommerce and the default plugins that come with WordPress.

Do you have a test install to test master branch? Thats what I imported with, and again, the attribute did not exist and the ‘update product’ checkbox was unchecked.

No, just install the master branch from github on the TEST install only and try another import https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/archive/master.zip

Hi, I installed the master branch. A global attribute is being created as reported by you but the attribute is not getting added to the product. If an already existing attribute is entered in the sheet, that also is not getting imported in the product.

Is the term being created for the global attribute? Have you ruled out a conflict with your installed plugins?
