Bug: After Minify Old CSS Files Still Output to Page (4 posts)

    Hi,

I've enabled manual mode for W3TC minify. I've gone to the minfiy section, and manually added the various urls to the stylesheets I wanted to combine. When I had done this previously with other clients sites, it has done so successfully, outputting all CSS in a single file while inhibiting the theme and various plugins from independently outputting there own CSS. Now, however, I've noticed that while the Minification seems to have worked, I still see the old CSS stylesheets output to the various pages as well as the new minified version. I'm assuming this is a bug.

As a reference, you may view the source code of http://ginamarieschianti.com/

You will notice that the first stylesheet that outputs in the head is the minifyed version, yet still 15 or so other stylesheets are outputted when there should really only be 3! W3TC is actually ADDING stylesheets rather than reducing & combining them. Not good!

As another note all plugins, themes and WordPress is up to date as of Aug 16, 2013.

    Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I have the exact same problem with W3TC version 0.9.3...

I just (finally) upgraded from the old 0.9.2.4 version - and have found that having Minify on now includes both the original JS/CSS files as well as the minified copies!

Have you made any headway with this? Or been in touch with the developer and/or filed a bug report?

Not sure what to do about the redundancy except turn that part off to avoid the duplicate...

    Thanks!

Not sure why the duplicate (original + minified) JS/CSS output to the site's pages is happening, but I am also using 'Manual' mode (with 6 JS and 3 CSS files), if that's any clue...

I'm having the same issue, as well as the Recently an error occurred while creating the CSS / JS minify cache: File "xxxxxxx.js" doesn't exist issue (the file never existed).
