[Resolved] Bug: admin_footer_text filter prints text instead of returning it

  • Bug in Slimstat 3.2.2, the “admin_footer_text” filter does echo the changed text instead of returning it, so other filters which also change the footer, are not worrking as intended.

    File: admin/wp-slimstat-admin.php, line 797

    Wrong:

    // Footer link
    public static function footer_admin($_original_footer = ''){
    	echo $_original_footer.' Analytics powered by <a href="http://slimstat.getused.to.it/">WP SlimStat</a>.';
    }

    Fixed:

    // Footer link
    public static function footer_admin($_original_footer = ''){
    	return $_original_footer.' Analytics powered by <a href="http://slimstat.getused.to.it/">WP SlimStat</a>.';
    }

    Note: Please mark this only as [resolved] after you have really fixed the bug and released a new version. The support-forum of WP-Slimstat is pretty unreadable in terms of really resolved bugs/questions. “Mark as resolved” is not a “mark as read” feature…

    Good catch. I will take care of this in the next update. As for marking as resolved, the way I use this feature is to mark a thread when the issue has been addressed in my local repository. But if this bothers you, I will resolve when the next version is released.

    Cheers
